The great "Bauernsterben", the extinction of farmers, is a real problem. It's geting more and more difficult for small farmers to keep in business because of big industrial farms producing more and cheaper as they can. Making matters worse are new guidelines that make it virtually impossible to keep small farms profitable. I portrayed this by putting a cutting element in the picture and edited the picture so that only part of the person remains.
